How to claim
What to do if something happens, step by step.
- Limit the damage if it's safe to, and report fire, theft or break-ins to the police.
- Tell us straight away: call the hotline 1557, use the ATM app, or email info@takaful.mv.
- Keep the damaged items and take photos: a surveyor will contact you within one working day.
- Submit your documents: the property claim form, your certificate, the police or fire report, and proof of value such as receipts or invoices.
- Settlement: once the claim is approved we pay by bank transfer and let you know.
